Details: Peas, or Pisum sativum, can be dated back to early Egypt, Pakistan and Afghanistan however in modern times are spread across the globe used in a variety of culinary uses. Botanically a fruit, peas offer an array of available micronutrients.
The finest quality peas are first selected and cleaned, ready for processing. These then undergo a centrifugal separation process, where the unwanted sediment is removed. The resulting mixture is heated at 50-60 degrees Celsius to form a protein-dense liquid, which is flash sterilised and spray dried into a de-humidified powder ready for packing.
Recommended use:Consume up to 30g per day. Add to water, milk, juice or a smoothie. Alternatively, add to porridge, soups or desserts.
