Spirulina or Blue Algae by Dayang is a freshwater microalgae. It is traditionally used to help with weight control, as a supplement to a low-calorie diet.
It is composed of :
- carotenoids, such as beta-carotene,

- mineral salts such as iron, magnesium, zinc.
- phycocyanine, a characteristic compound with antioxidant properties and natural blue pigment.
