Poloxame r 407 is a polymer that has the property of exerting a thermoreversible thickening and gelling action, that is to say that its texture varies according to the temperature. These specific properties allow it to form a macromolecular complex with chondroitin and hyaluronic acid. It thus allows to adhere to the mucosa, to exert a protective activity, but also to prolong the contact time and the release time of chondroitin and hyaluronic acid on the tissues of the mucosa. Chondroitin is a fundamental constituent of the esophageal mucosa. It has an anti-inflammatory effect , by stimulating the growth of fibroblasts. It also plays an important role in cell protection, reducing the proteolytic activity of pepsin. Thus, it relieves and prevents tissue damage. Hyaluronic acid , an essential component of epithelia, is a pivotal molecule in healing processes , it plays an important role in lubrication, cell differentiation and cell growth. Thus, Esoxx One is characterized by its protective mucoadhesive effect, it prolongs the action of active substances and promotes healing. Esoxx One comes in the form of a gel packaged in single-dose sachets of 10 ml.
