1. WHAT FLUDITEC IS AND WHAT IT IS USED FOR
The Fluditec preparation liquefies bronchial secretions, relieves expectoration. Its use is recommended in the case of swelling of the bronchial mucosa, especially in acute bronchitis.

2. BEFORE YOU USE FLUDITEC SYRUP
Fluditec syrup should not be used:

if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to carbocisteine, methyl parahydroxybenzoate or other parabens or any of the excipients of Fluditec.
This medicine is not recommended for use in infants (under 2 years of age), as it may worsen bronchiectasis.
If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Special precautions are required:
In the following cases, it is necessary to consult a doctor.

A lot of purulent secretion is coughed up.
There is a chronic lung or bronchial disease.
When taking Fluditec, other cough medicines or preparations that suppress bronchial secretions should not be used.
If symptoms worsen, treatment should be discontinued. In this case, consult a doctor who will reassess your condition.
In case of stomach or duodenal ulcer, the medication should be used with caution.
Use of other medicines

Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription.
When taking Fluditec, other cough medicines or preparations that suppress bronchial secretions should not be used.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding

Before using any medicine, it is necessary to consult a doctor or pharmacist.
During pregnancy, the preparation can be used only on the doctor's prescription.
Driving and using machines

Important information about some of the excipients in Fluditec

If you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some carbohydrates, contact your doctor before taking this medicine.
One dosing cup filled to the 5 ml mark contains 13 mg sodium. This should be considered if dietary sodium is severely restricted.
One dosing cup filled to the 5 ml mark contains 3.5 g of sucrose. This should be taken into account if you are restricting the amount of sugar in your diet or if you have diabetes.
This medicinal product contains methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E218) and azo dye (sunset yellow FCF (E110)). May cause allergic reactions which may be delayed.
3. HOW TO USE FLUDITEC RESPIRATORY SYRUP
Fluditec medicine is only for children.
One dosing cup (graduated to 5 ml) contains 100 mg of carbocisteine.
Usual dosage

Children older than 5 years. 100 mg of Fluditec syrup (one dosing cup filled to the 5 ml mark) is taken three times a day.
2-5 year old children. 100 mg of syrup is taken twice a day (one dosing cup filled to the 5 ml mark).
Use orally.
Do not use the product for more than 8-10 days without a doctor's prescription.
If you take too much Fluditec,
you may experience signs of gastrointestinal upset (see section 4).

If you forget to take Fluditec
Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed dose.

When you stop taking Fluditec syrup

The data is not relevant.

4. POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS OF FLUDITEC
Like all medicines, Fluditec can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
Bronchial swelling may occur in infants.
Allergic skin reactions such as pruritus, erythematous rash, urticaria and angioedema may occur.
Gastrointestinal disorders may occur: stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea. In this case, it may be necessary to reduce the dose.

5. HOW TO STORE FLUDITEC SYRUP
Keep Fluditec syrup out of the reach and sight of children.
Store below 25°C.
Do not use Fluditec after the expiry date stated on the carton and bottle under the "Expiry Until" label. The drug is suitable for use until the last day of the indicated month.
Fluditec medicines must not be poured down the drain or disposed of with household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of unnecessary medicines. These measures will help protect the environment.
6. OTHER INFORMATION ABOUT FLUDITEC RELIEF COUGH SYRUP
Composition of Fluditec syrup

The active ingredient is carbocisteine. 1 ml of syrup contains 20 mg of carbocisteine.
Excipients are glycerol (85%), methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E 218), sucrose, sodium hydroxide, sunset yellow FCF (E110), banana flavor and purified water.
